Measured walls, not a picture
Many AI floor plan tools paint an image that looks like a plan. Here the layout is built from rules: rooms tile the outline exactly, bedrooms get egress windows, the kitchen run and bath sizes stay usable. The 3D model and any rendered picture are drawn from that same layout, so they never disagree.

Is the floor plan maker free?
Yes. Making layouts, the 3D view and the DXF download are free and need no account. Paid credits only buy AI pictures of your design.
Can I download the floor plan as a CAD file?
Yes. Every layout downloads as a DXF file in inches, with walls, doors, windows, room names and overall sizes on their own layers. DXF opens in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, DraftSight and LibreCAD, so your designer can start from it instead of redrawing.
What sizes can I make?
From 300 to 1,200 sq ft, one story: studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms, garage conversions and junior ADUs. Bigger homes and second floors aren't supported yet.
Can I build from this floor plan?
Not on its own. It's a concept layout: real room sizes, doors and windows, but no structure, energy or code review. A licensed designer or architect turns it into the plan set your city approves.
