What the AI does, and what it doesn't
The AI reads your description and picks options the layout generator understands: size, bedrooms, baths, shape, kitchen, laundry, ceiling and style. It never draws a wall. The generator places every room, door and window to measured sizes, so what you see is a plan, not an illustration.
If your description asks for something the generator can't build, like a 2 bedroom in 450 sq ft, it picks the closest size and rooms that work.
From description to CAD
Describe it, adjust anything by hand, then download the floor plan as a DXF file. Walls, doors, windows, room labels and overall dimensions sit on separate layers, in inches.

Do I need an account to use the AI floor plan generator?
No. Describing a home, editing the layout and downloading the DXF need no signup.
What can I describe?
Size, bedrooms and baths, the type (backyard cottage, attached unit, garage conversion or junior ADU), kitchen, laundry, ceiling height and style. Second floors, lofts and homes over 1,200 sq ft aren't supported, and the generator tells you when it skips something.
Is it an image generator?
No. The AI only chooses options; a rules-based generator draws the plan to measured sizes. Rendered pictures of the outside and rooms are a separate, paid step, and they follow the plan.
Can a contractor build from the AI floor plan?
Use it to agree on rooms and sizes first. Before anyone builds, a licensed designer adds structure, energy and code details and prepares the set your city reviews.
